The Health and Safety Laboratory in Buxton is a leading industrial health and safety facility operating as a agency of the Health and Safety Executive. These facilities, including the biggest impact track in Europe that enables HSL to maintain its position at the fore front of research in work related accidents and ill health.
We started work part way through the contract in the engineering block constructing the test beds, impact track and service trenches with related drainage and ducting requirements.
We worked on various construction elements throughout the building including suspended concrete floor slabs and test facilities.
Externally our contract included earthworks, excavations of rock, drainage, kerrbing, hard landscaping and spreading of top-soil from stockpile on site.
