Flintshire
The Mynydd Isa Campus in Flintshire, North Wales, is a major educational development combining modern learning facilities with a strong focus on sustainability. The new BREEAM Excellent rated 10,500 m² school accommodates up to 1,300 pupils. Adana Construction have completed the foundations, slabs, drainage, underground service trenches, and hard landscaping for the new school, which was completed in April 2025. Phase 2 works are currently in progress, involving the remaining civils and landscaping following the demolition of the former school buildings. The extensive landscaping scheme includes the construction of swales, attenuation tanks, headwalls, rain gardens, and permeable paving.
Blackburn
The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) is a new research building in Samlesbury that includes 2500m2 of concrete. In 2020 Adana secured the groundwork and concrete floor package to the new AMRC Building. Concrete floors were laid to an FM2 specified finish. Following the successful completion of the groundworks and upper floor packages Adana secured and completed the external hard landscaping package.
