Completed in 2021, Broughton House Veterans Care Village involved the phased demolition and redevelopment of the existing site to create a comprehensive veterans’ care facility. The scheme included 64 nursing home bedrooms, 34 independent living apartments, a military support hub, a memorial park with cenotaph and remembrance walls, and landscaped gardens including an all-weather bowling green and bandstand. Adana Construction undertook the enabling works, forming new access routes and drainage connections, followed by substructure works comprising reinforced concrete foundations and the construction of the new four-storey reinforced concrete frame. The project was completed with the full external works package including drainage, ducting and hard landscaping.
