The project involved the construction of a four-storey reinforced concrete frame for a new cultural facility. The venue includes a 500-seat main theatre, a 150-seat secondary theatre, 500m² of double-height gallery space, up to five cinema screens, learning areas, digital and broadcast production facilities, as well as a café, restaurant, and workshop spaces.
Adana Construction delivered reinforced concrete perimeter walls exceeding 6m in height, along with in-situ concrete slabs throughout the structure. An 18m-high theatre space was also formed in reinforced concrete as part of the works. Sections of the reinforced concrete frame were constructed to a particularly high specification to achieve the required quality of exposed concrete finish.
