Constructed during the 1930's, Trafford town hall is landmark building located adjacent to Old Trafford Cricket Ground and within close proximity to Old Trafford Football Stadium. This project was split over two packages; the first package included the initial enabling works and refurbishment to the existing building, whilst the second package comprised the groundworks, drainage and construction of the specialist post-tensioned frame. Adana Construction was initially appointed to undertake the enabling works only. However, through strong performance on site, collaborative working relationships with the client, and a competitive commercial approach, Adana was subsequently awarded the post-tensioned concrete frame and further refurbishment works.
